GOD, I PRAY . . .

that we will dedicate ourselves to prayer for the
40 Days of Purpose
campaign. Get us spiritually ready for what you want to do. We know
that without your power we will labour in vain. Encourage us to
saturate these important 40 days in prayer

for our senior pastor Dr. Kevin Livingston as he leads us. We also pray
that your protection will surround his family and him. We ask you to
fill him with your Spirit and strengthen him
·
that we would authentically hunger for spiritual transformation in our
church and for lasting results for Your Kingdom in our community
·
that many in our congregation will join a
40 Days of Purpose small group, and that they will experience deeper
relationships and changed lives. Prepare the leaders of those
groups; equip them for this vital ministry.

that each person in our church
family will commit to memorizing a Bible verse each week and reading

Purpose
Driven Life daily for 40 days
· for the seven Sunday services and the impact they will
have on your people
· that our Ministry Fair will expand our church’s impact
through ministry opportunities, sending more workers into service
and giving more people a chance to make a difference by using their
skills and gifts
· for our spiritual growth, that we will deepen our faith
as we learn to live out your five purposes: worship, fellowship,
discipleship, ministry, and mission
·
for our Celebration Sunday, that it will be a true
celebration of all that you have accomplished in us and through
us
during the 40 Days of Purpose campaign

· that through the impact
of this campaign, people would commit their lives to your Son, Jesus
Christ, who gives us purpose. Use this campaign to help our church
to reach out to our community more effectively with the Good News
· as the campaign begins,
that every person in our church would be open and receptive to the
message of the campaign, and that they would commit to living out
the five purposes for which they were created
