University and Young Adult Ministry is the space within the Knox community where students and young adults are encouraged to become active and passionate followers of Jesus as they explore the Gospel, their vocation, love and serve others, and are provided creative and expanding opportunities to use their gifts to bless others and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Through the school year, join us for Sunday worship at 11am or 5pm, connect with a Home Church and join us on Facebook and MailChimp as other events and opportunities unfold!

YA Friday Nights

Most months we set aside a Friday evening to unpack a topic that helps us process our Christian faith in our everyday lives and in light of the world around us. Here are the dates and the topics we’ve settled on so far:

OCT 20 @ 7:00pm – Ready for More?
We’ll gather with the ready for more team leading us to consider how we’re willing and God is calling us to participate in setting the foundation for another century of ministry at Knox!

NOV 10 @ 7:00pm – Singleness and faithfulness. Still fleshing out the specifics, but we’d love to chat about what it means and looks like to lead a faithful, single life as a follow of Jesus.

DEC 1 @ 7:00pm – TBA

Home Churches

Pockets of small community are at the heart of growing deeper in relationship with Christ and with each other. Connect with peers or an intergenerational group for weekly prayer, fellowship and bible discussion. Locations are throughout the city. Interested? Contact Ashlee Campbell, Home Church Pastor
*September 17th after 11am & 5pm worship, come learn about this year’s line-up of Home Churches*

Summer Serve 2018

Summer is a great time to serve and be sent! Watch in late October for more information on Knox Camps and our mission partners with a variety of opportunities to serve and grow in Toronto and abroad.

(See what we’ve been up to in past summers here.)

New to the city and looking for ways to feel a little more at home here? Adopt-a-student had it’s official launch in September, but there are always a few more folks and families up for hosting and connecting with students. If you’d like to be “adopted” by someone this year, contact Sam for more information:

Campus Groups

Are you a student at U of T, Ryerson or OCADU? Undergrad and graduate students are encouraged to meet our friends Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship, Power2Change, and CRC Graduate Christian Fellowship. George Brown students are welcome to connect with the same ministries at the university campus closest to them, too!

Fluid 2018

Our neighbours in the GTA have been organizing this good gathering of young adults for a few years now. Save the date for next year’s: March 3rd, 2018.

These fine folks will also be hosting worship evening: November 5, 2017.
