Knox is celebrating 200 years of ministry! All through these years, Knox has consistently bore witness to the Gospel and has been at the “forefront of Christian witness and social compassion” in the heart of the city and has blessed the world through mission.

The 200th anniversary is a time to reflect on God’s blessings and at the same time, commit to the church's vision of faithfully following Jesus, loving the city, and serving the world.

As a church community, we want to come together and further Knox’s legacy of being a blessing to the city and the world.

So, in celebration of 200 years, we want to come together and take part in showing love to our city and world as a church family!

How does this work?

In this link, you’ll find an exhaustive list of actions you can take to bless the people around you; you can also get a physical booklet with a list of actions from the church building or Narthex. These acts could be done either individually or as a group with your home church, youth group, or even just a group of Knox friends.

You can also view and download our official booklet featuring all these details. For a physical copy, please reach out to karen-luz@knoxtoronto.org

Alongside this list of actions, you’ll also have the opportunity to love the Toronto community through two serving opportunities coming up later in the spring and summer, in partnership with Scott Mission and Evangel Hall Mission. You can sign up for them right in this Eventbrite page!

The goal is to do as many acts of blessings from March to October from the list, with an overall goal of reaching 2,020 acts in total as a church family. When this number is reached, the church will donate $20,200 to a Christian charity or mission organization in need of support for their work, alongside looking to partner with them.

How will we count our blessings?

To keep track of this number, we’ll need your help!

We encourage you to go and post your acts to blessings.knoxtoronto.org, contributing to our progress as a church and to be encouraged by seeing how others are blessing our community.

Share your stories and experiences of blessing the city and the world with us through social media by posting photos and videos on social media with the hashtag #Knox200 and be sure to tag @knoxtoronto as well!
