Rev. Alex MacLeod

Alex grew up in Toronto and completed his undergrad in history and philosophy at U of T where he became a follower of Jesus as he finished his degree. After studying theology at Regent College in Vancouver, he went on to receive his M.Div. from Knox College. Previously, he was Associate Minister here at Knox and then Lead Pastor at Kortright Church in Guelph for 12 years. He returned to Knox in 2023 to serve as Senior Minister. Alex is married to Judith and they have 3 adult children.

Rev. Nick Renaud

Nick moved to Toronto from Windsor in 2013. His faith is shaped by an early foundation in the Pentecostal church, formative years in a downtown Presbyterian church, and an experience of missional community seeking the good of the city. He holds degrees from the University of Windsor (BA, Dramatic Art) and Knox College at the University of Toronto (MDiv), and studied urban church engagement and the missional church at Tyndale Seminary. Nick is married to Margaret and they have two children. He has served on staff since 2013.

Temeka is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter and worship leader who has loved both Jesus and music from childhood. She has a Fine Arts degree from York University where she studied Vocal Jazz and has been worship leading at various churches and parachurch ministries since the age of 16. Temeka has had the privilege to sing with some amazing local artists and groups such as the Toronto Mass Choir, For The Master, Sole Power Choir, Amy Sky, Mark Masri, and has been featured on local radio and 100 Huntley Street. Temeka has been the Worship Pastor at Knox since 2021 and is excited to lead people to see Jesus as worthy of our praise and worship.

Khevna Dave

Khevna was born into a Hindu family in Kenya, and first came to know Jesus through Messianic Jews. She studied Global Health, Bioethics and Christianity & Culture at the University of Toronto. Khevna is married to Samuel, and their home in Scarborough is often full of joyful chaos with teens and cats. After years of cross-cultural experience, through short term opportunities overseas and ongoingly in her neighbourhood community, she stepped into mobilization work at the Missions Hub in 2019 and is delighted to have joined Knox as the Missions Pastor in 2026.

Matt Lindo

Matt began to follow Jesus in middle school while growing up in Mississauga. He has studied at U of T (Mathematics, Education), and Azusa Pacific University (Organizational Leadership). Prior to joining Knox as Discipleship Pastor in July 2025, Matt worked in student ministry for twenty years with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students in the Caucasus and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in SW Ontario. He loves to walk alongside people to see them grow and develop as they follow Jesus. Matt is married to Sevda and they have three children.

Nicky Laxton-Ward

Nicky grew up in England and came to know Jesus at university. She worked for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in the UK, at the University of Toronto, and in the GTA for twenty years. She has spent the last ten years working for churches as a pastor with children, youth and young adults. Nicky has degrees in theology from Wycliffe College and joined the pastoral team at Knox in 2022. She is married to Ian. They have three children and one grandchild.

Mirim was born into a Christian family in South Korea and moved to Toronto in Grade 7. She studied psychology at York University, where she committed her life to Christ through Power to Change. She later studied theology at Knox College and has served in different churches with preschoolers, kids, and youth. Mirim joined the pastoral team at Knox in 2025. She and her husband David are raising four kids together.
