Our worship service gathers a diverse group of ages and cultural backgrounds and includes kids’ ministry.

Some things to note about Sundays:

  • New to Knox? — Feel free to let us know you’re coming, or ask any questions through our connect form anytime.

  • Communion – we celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month.

  • Internationals, you’re in good company! Whether you’re in Toronto for a short time or a long time, we’d love to be your worshipping community. Introduce yourself through our connect form when you’re ready.

  • Families – We believe worship is an important time for kids to experience and participate in. Register your child in advance here. Kids 1-10yrs are welcomed upstairs to our kids programming partway through the service. Toddlers 1-4yrs must be accompanied by a caregiver to sign in. Teens worship with us in the sanctuary and through the school year, gather for pizza and conversation after worship. For families with infants, our nursery room with washroom is open (but not staffed) if you or your baby need a break from the sanctuary. It’s just through the north door at the front of the sanctuary. Read more about kids and teens ministry here.

  • University Students & Young Adults — make sure to introduce yourself to Pr. Nicky, nicky@knoxtoronto.org. She’d love to connect you with our young adult community.

After Worship, receive prayer from a pastor or prayer team in the south transept by the organ, or linger to connect over refreshments. Depending on the Sunday, we might even enjoy a meal together!

Please note, the first 5 rows of pews are often visible on our livestream. Please sit further back if you’d prefer to not be on camera.

Getting to Knox

We are located at 630 Spadina Ave, Toronto [map] (that’s right at the corner of Harbord and Spadina, just south of Spadina Stn and across from U of T).

 

  • We are just down from Spadina Station. Take the Spadina Streetcar to the Harbord stop, or you can walk down from the station (about 7min).

  • Knox lot: There is limited parking in our lot off of Harbord St. 

    St. Volodomyr’s lot: Sunday mornings only, extra parking available behind our neighbours, St. Vlod’s.  Access through the back lane (Sussex Mews) off Harbord or Willcocks. Please be mindful of any reserved signs and do not block any doors.

    Paid parking: On Spadina or underground at Grad House (off Glen Morris St). Read street parking signs carefully as parking laws are well-enforced in our neighbourhood!

  • 2 bike racks are located at the north side of the building. Like many places in the city, beware of bike theft — use a quality lock and secure quick-release parts.

  • Our accessible entrance is located at the north side of the church.
