Elders & Leadership

Part of being a Presbyterian church means we are governed and cared for by a team of Elders. Together with our ministers, they serve on Session and meet monthly through the year. Elders support, encourage, and guide our church.

At Knox, we also have a handful of leadership bodies that lead and steward our resources and special areas of ministry. Our current leaders are listed below for your reference.

Elders

Our elders care for our faith community through Knox Villages. There are 6 villages across the GTA, and we invite you to contact the Elder or Elders overseeing your village to get connected with the Knox community right in your area. See the map below for the boundaries of each village.

Administrative Leadership

Apart from the trustees, each leadership body in our church is accountable to the Session for their ministry functions—many will have at least one elder serving on the committee, and our ministers are ex-officio members of all church committees.

Trustees

These elected volunteers steward the finances of the Jesse Ketchum Trust Fund (JKTF) and hold our church's property in trust on behalf of the congregation.

These volunteers and staff work to set the vision and priorities for the stewardship of our building and property.

Leading with Care

These volunteers and staff oversee the implementation of the Leading with Care Policy, the policy of the Presbyterian Church to ensure a climate of safety for children, youth and vulnerable adults in our church and ministries.
