Introduction

This January we are initiating the Elder Selection Process for new elders to be added to session and we need your participation: your discernment, wisdom, and prayer.

 Elder selection is conducted in 2 phases:

  1. Nomination phase – now until February 22

  2. Voting phase – members will receive a letter in April with voting information

In the Nomination phase, we ask all members to join in the prayerful work of identifying new elder nominees. Our elder selection process depends on the Holy Spirit working through our members.

 Below you will find directions for the nomination work we ask members to undertake. There are 2 ways you can read this information:

  • If you like to read on printed paper > print the PDF linked here or call the church office to request a printed copy.

  • If you like to read on your device > Keep reading here (Only members will be emailed a link to the ballot form and membership list).

Members are asked to consider blocking out at least 1 hour of reading and prayer for this work as well as time to contact those you’d like to nominate. Nominations are due February 22, 2026.
