Foundation Repairs Along Sussex Mews
Start Date: September 1, 2026 — Projected End Date: December 11, 2026*

As part of our ongoing site renewal work and care for our building, we are moving forward with essential foundation repairs and waterproofing on the west side of the church. The work will happen along Sussex Mews and will include excavation adjacent to the foundation wall, masonry repointing and repair, below-grade waterproofing, and drainage-related work. Reinstatement of disturbed asphalt, paving, and landscaped areas will follow immediately.
For neighbours and weekday church visitors, here’s what you can expect.
Active construction work Monday to Friday: 7am-6pm; Saturday, if required: 9am-5pm
temporary fencing/hoarding and equipment in the area
excavation work and related noise and dust
material deliveries
What about the accessing the lane way, Sussex Mews?
Sussex Mews will remain open to local traffic during construction with a minimum 3.0 m clear travel lane maintained where practical. Temporary traffic controls, fencing and signage will be installed around the work area. Short-term access restrictions may be required during excavation, deliveries and asphalt reinstatement. We recommend approaching the lane way from Willcocks, to the south.
For Sunday Worshippers
Parking in front of the rear/west Fellowship entrance will not be permitted during construction. All other parking will remain available, but entering the lane from Willcocks will be best.
