Tap to Give is here!

We are pleased to share we’re introducing Tap to Give at Knox! We know you’re a generous church and we’d love to make it as easy as possible for you to support to the work we believe God’s called us to. In the days ahead, Tap to Give will be available in the narthex on Sundays for donations of $5, $10, and $20. We will also have a tap station available at events where we normally collect cash donations. 

Here are some key points we’d love to share with you about the new tap devices AND while we’re talking about giving, we have a few notes afterwards to share from our Trustees you’re invited to read, too.

Tap to Give at Knox: What you need to Know

• Tap to Give will be available starting Sunday, August 23

• Tap giving is available for the following amounts: $5 – $10 – $20
  The amounts we’ve chosen for the devices are based on the most frequent online giving amounts. 

• All donations/payments with the devices will be directed to the General Fund.

• Tap-to-give donations are not eligible for tax receipts at this time. If you’d like a tax receipt, please give online at knoxtoronto.org/give, or by other existing methods.

• Devices will be used on Sundays in the Narthex, at hospitality events like Soup Sunday, for parking payments at the front office, and any other suitable event where we’d usually have a cash basket or provide an opportunity to donate.

• We hope this will streamline some of our givings, convert more cash donations into auditable transactions, and respond to current methods of payment.

• Tap to Give is a 1 year pilot.
