Where can we find hope when life takes a hard turn? When relationships break down or when God seems silent in the face of our challenges?
Joseph’s story brings these questions into the life of a family torn apart by favouritism and betrayal. Sold into slavery by his own brothers, Joseph has every reason to lose his faith. But God was working in ways Joseph could not yet see.
In this series we’ll explore what it means to trust God with the painful and unfinished parts of our stories. We’ll consider the patterns of sin that ruin families and whole societies, the grace that can change us, and the difficult road toward forgiveness and reconciliation. How can we stop dreaming of revenge and even come to care for those who have hurt us? Will we trust the One who promises justice?
Joseph’s story points us to Jesus, who entered our suffering and gave himself for our salvation. At the cross, we see the depth of human sin and the far greater depth of God’s redeeming love.
Whether you’re dealing with an old hurt, worried about the future, or waiting for God to show up, join us this month as we consider how God’s abiding love is always with us even when his purposes are hidden from us.
