Sermon Series: Raised with Christ

Sermon Series — April 19-May 17

What difference does the resurrection of Jesus actually make in our everyday lives?

In this five-week series through Paul’s letter to the Colossians, we’ll explore what it means not only to believe that Christ is risen, but to live as people who have been raised with him. Writing to a young and growing church, the apostle Paul describes how the reality of the risen Jesus reshapes everything—from how we understand God, to how we see ourselves, to how we relate to one another and the world around us.

At the heart of Colossians is an extraordinary claim: the risen Christ is Lord over all things, and those who belong to him share in his new life. In other words, the resurrection is not just a past event to celebrate once a year, but a present reality and a life-changing hope that reorients our priorities and forms us into a new kind of community.

As we study this letter, we’ll see how resurrection life takes visible shape in renewed minds, habits of love and forgiveness, and a quiet but compelling witness to those around us.

This series is an invitation to move beyond simply affirming the resurrection as a belief, and toward becoming a people who are responding in obedience to how the Spirit is shaping us together, by the life and power of the risen Jesus.
