Immersive Light Show to be hosted at Knox

We are excited to share with you that starting November 14, Knox will be the first Canadian venue (and among the first in North America) for Eonarium’s immersive light show, Enlightenment. Maybe you’ve already seen some buzz on BlogTO or social media. It’s a sound and light show based on Vivaldi's Four Seasons that's seen success across Europe and other international cities. It's a similar concept to what you may have experienced at Montreal's Notre Dame Cathedral. With shows running between November and January, it's anticipated to attract over 20,000 visitors to our building, giving many a chance to experience the beauty of our space for the first time, and in a new way.

As we continue on our journey of renewing our site and facilities, our leadership was especially curious about the potential of opening our space to the Enlightenment experience. It resonates with past community discussions on engaging with the arts and is a significant opportunity to bridge the wider community with our church.

We don’t know what connections may emerge from this, but we’re praying God would use this experience for more people in our city to both encounter our church and grow in curiosity of what’s kept us going for over 200 years.

Interested in seeing the show? Enlightenment is a ticketed event, but as a thank you, Eonarium’s production company Fever will be offering our congregation a complimentary preview of the show. Congregation members: keep an eye out for those details coming to you soon!
